Gas Scrubber : The compact Precision Gas Scrubber is especially designed for the condensation and two stage neutralisation of obnoxious gases and acid fumes produced during Kjeldahl digestion. The gas scrubber unit consists of a high efficiency water-jet aspirator pump with water tank to recirculate the stored water without need of a tapwater supply. The aspirator pump creates dynamic vacuum to suck the acid fumes. The scrubber is equipped with triple stage purification provision-First stage removes condensable acid vapour in a glass impactor, second stage dissolves out highly soluble acid fumes in a water scrubber module and in the third stage the remaining aggressive gases are trapped in the alkali scrubber module. All the components coming in dry or wet contact of the gases are made of acid resistant materials and entire unit is housed in a compact cabinet. The system works on 230 V AC mains.
