Kjeldahl Distillation System
A compact equipment for speedy distillation of acid digested samples/ salt samples for determination of nitrogen/protein content as per A.O.A.C. method. The electronic controllers used in the setup strictly maintains reproducible processing resulting in more than 99% recovery of nitrogen content. The distillators are available in three models having a combination of automated facilities to suite the user's requirements. All the models have minimum basic facilities including stainless steel boiler with water level controller and safely provisions, peristaltic pump for alkali transfer, all glass distillation assembly, microprocessor based timers for alkali addition and steam distillation and spring loadded tube holders with neoprene rubber cone to use 100 ml or 250 ml Kjeldahl digestion tubes for distillation. Body of the distillator is made of mild steel and powder coated to protect it from corrosion. All the controls are mounted on front panel for easy working. The liquid transfer pumps and reservoirs are located at the rear side and connected to the main unit via cables and flexible silicon tubings.The distillators are available in following combinations.
